Human rights public hearings

All hearings are open to the public. The Tribunal may hold portions in private if there is a confidentiality order in place. Hearings can be held in person or by videoconference and can take place anywhere across Canada.

The Tribunal can cancel hearings at the last moment due to settlements or other changes. If you plan on attending a hearing, please contact us ahead of time (at least two business days before the scheduled hearing). We will confirm the date, time and location of the hearing.

For in-person hearings, there are other considerations you should be aware of, such as information on accessing the hearing room. Please get in touch with us to obtain any other relevant information.
